I've been meaning to revisit his hand-me-down Dr.I from Kirchstein...I think I might paint up a "what if" bird combining elements of Kirchstein's plane, Udet's traditional "Lo!" and "Du Doch Nicht!" and maybe the Jasta 11 red nose and struts, or even the red stripes of his D.VII...

Udet was a tragic figure.
He survived WWI but committed suicide in 1941.
