Is it my imagination but, having viewed the real Tripehound in the RAF Museum and reviewed photos + my Revell 1/72 models, is the top wing on the Wings of Glory triplane too close to the middle wing by about 2mm?

That is a correct observation. The topic has been discussed before in that series relevant thread, while Chris AKA Boney10 noticed that feature. There you will find a mending procedure according to Chris if you would like to lift the wing a bit.

Do you have a link and can you post it here?
Barry
are you talking about the absolute WORST model that has been produced for our game!!
The perpetrators of that farce should have been !!
That plane model bears no resemblance to the Sopwith, as I may have mentioned previously a couple of times
I will post you the fix if you need
Light blue touch paper & retire behind cover !! (he's not wrong though)
At least they didn't screw up the Hanriot....
>:)
It is a better model than the Red Egale one
But the Shapeways one is better, despite the material finish
Both to be honest and in my humble opinion.
I think it is time I stepped in and threw a little G&T on the fire.
The Triplanes I have are the only models that I have put away in the hanger and never used.
