Drilled & split the roundel decal to fit around the woodwork - and very surprised that worked !
Decals are by Dom also sealed with Klear; top coated with Humbrol Acrylic Matt Cote (49).

Crew by Peter Pig. German gunner used (different pose to Brit) grafted a Lewis gun on to replace Parabellum and glued him in facing backwards. Had to cut top of a cabane strut to ease him in then glued it back in place. Fiddly but worth the effort I hope you agree.

    Awesome job!
I'm just about to start a pair of Skytrex/Red Eagle BE2c s - these pictures show me what to aim for. Thanks!

That model certainly has been done full justice by you Dave.
Very nice touches with the roundels and the gunner. I must get another of those birds done myself.

Very nice Dave! Every time I see results as fine as yours it makes me waffle on what would be the "best" fit for me, Shapeways or paper. Gotta get that airbrush out soon & see for myself...

I have just finished the two Shapeways ( by decapod) be2c planes of mine, but lack of Dave's skills led me to drop the front gunner. The models came with figurines already printed so they look quite pretty anyway. Due to shortage of British roundels one of the planes bears somewhat custom individual fantasy pilot marking. I hope the British colleagues forgive me this heresy

Great job there Dave - and yours are great too Andrzej

If you manage to get up to T Wells in a fortnight we'll have to give the early birds an outing Dave - I've just finished the Ago CII and FE2b that have sat on my workstation for about a month

Thanks Dave [For your eyes only: it's a WH40K spare decal of some Marine unit]

Default Be2c updated with rear guns

It took me 48 hours to decide that the rear firing guns must be added to upgrade the appearance of my Be2c planes. So finally I did it. They do not look as smart as Dave's figurines, but due to the already printed crew, I did not want to cut off their (plastic) heads. Now both planes may enjoy some protection from attacking Huns
The color of them is Vallejo Ice Yellow which sometimes may look too yellowish, but more or less the shade is right IMHO.

In my opinion they look fine Andy.
I like your running wolf motif on the side.
I could say it is becoming a bit of a leitmotif.

    Thanks Rob
Well, the plane with the wolf motif can be used in some special scenario or the crew might have had some story to tell... Just a thought
Anyway, thinking of Strutters, F.E.2bs and Dolphins as new planes to come will require some new roundel decals supplies sooner or later!
