Going down, for the last time Zeppelin L31

I went for a walk in the park today,only to discover a sign saying that where I was standing was the sight of a "Downed" Zeppelin, L31, shot down 1st October 1916, By 2Lt Wulstan Tempest, flying a Bristol BE2c, 4577 of No 39 (HD) Squadron, The German Navy Zeppelin airship L31,was commanded by Kapitänleutnant Heinrich Mathy. 2Lt Tempest was awarded the DSO, for his night action, over Hertsmere's Oakmere park England, Alas I only had a phone Camera so the pictures are low grade.Attachment 126847Attachment 126848Attachment 126849Attachment 126850Attachment 126851

I knew all about Mathy and his exploits, but to actually see the place where he came down is more real than just reading about him.
