    Default Hammerhead 2014

I visited this small show today with Mrs Kyte in tow!
She actually ended up spending more than I did, but that is another story.
The show itself is interesting in so far as it was saturated with visitors.
With only 18 traders, but no less than 26 participation games.
There is a bar, and food catering at the snack bar.
Being on the Newark Showground site parking is no problem at all, and access to the A1 and A46 is simple.
At £4 entry fee I felt it was worth the money, as all games were of a high standard, and the hand picked traders were just about adequate to cover most peoples needs.
There was no WoG gaming presence, but Caliver had a selection of the models for sale.
All in all a good morning out.
Here are a few photos taken by the intrepid Mrs Kyte to give you an overall impression of the show.

Nice photos and report Rob - that's lot of demo games! At Cavalier last weekend we had about twice the number of traders but only 16 games (interestingly, the same entrance fee)

Looks good Rob. Some of the lesser known shows are well worth a visit - Milton Hundred Wargames Club event Broadside in Sittingbourne Kent was worth a punt. Sunday 8th June this year

    Indeed they are Dave.
I was really just doing a recce to see if we might want to put on a game next year, but the hall was so packed with games that I can't see any chance unless someone drops out. Still I will keep an eye on the situation.
