I have a question about using ace skills. Looking through the list some are once a turn, once per two turns...is this measured only by turn or by card count?
Example of per turn, an ace skill is used on the third card of turn 5, can you use the same ace skill on turn 6 card 1? Or do you have to wait three cards before using it again? I have been waiting 3 cards and just want to be sure which way it is supposed to be.
Once per turn - once every 3 cards counted from the movement card you used it on . So count your ace ability from the first time you use it in a run of 3 movement cards
Once per 2 turns - one movement card in a sequence of of 6 movement cards . So count your ace ability from the first time you use it in a run of 6 movement cards
I think

That is what I was thinking. I want to make some reminder chits to place by the ace's console so not to jump the gun and use the skill before it should. Also as a reminder to use it as I have forgotten to use it quite a few times.
Definitely the way to go Peter. It's easy to lose track of what's going on and if you have 2 Aces !!!!!!!!

I'll post them in the files 'Game Aids' when I finish them.
Gentlemen, Chris aka fast.git will be joining the Germans for the 'back nine' if I may use a golfing metaphor - welcome back to th fray Chris
Ah more meat to the grinder Welcome back Chris.

Good to have you back Chris. Be careful, those Bulldogs have gotten mean since you last flew.
Good to have you back at the Front, Chris.
The Huns badly need some new blood.
The Huns need new blood? Yes, and a lot of it as we have been bleeding.... and bleeding....and bleeding.
Nice to know you are only toying with us! (from the squadron with only one pilot missing missions in the entire campaign! )
The Eagles honour roll for the flying wounded survivors,
Wound badge in Silver could go to:
Skafloc, Sidweg Fettlemeier, Hans Kneissenundupadaisy
Teaticket, Peter Büttner, Rolf Schafer
Flash, Paul Kunz, Herman Bona,
JohnBiggles Reinhard Stutz
Archidamus Hans Hübner, Albert Hahn
Tikifriend Johannaes Just
Wound badge in Gold to:
JohnBiggles, Hans Sonnek
Not to say the Bulldogs haven't had their own. By my quick count I see in surviving pilots (and active players) at this point in the campaign the Bulldogs and Eagles tie with each having suffered 92 wounds! KIA surprisingly slightly favors the Eagles 31 to the Bulldogs 34. A very grim scorecard.

I was about to review this Peter having finally settled on how to do it - originally (and you would not have known this without asking) I was only awarding Wound Badges based on actual periods of wounds ie the wound was sufficient to put the pilot out of action as I thought they would come aplenty, however, as we passed the halfway point I realised not many were getting dished out so resolved to review it when I had the time based on all wounds regardless of if they knocked the pilot out of action, and some awards of WBs have already been made in the course of recent updates.
Whilst I appreciate the effort you have made as it will greatly help my review I would have preferred this as a query in a PM rather than as an open admonishment of "they should be at least compensated with the proper gongs" which I found annoying... bearing in mind that the badge did not get instituted until March 1918 so they are not proper at all !
That said the sheet has now been updated and hopefully I have also caught up with the WBb where they were due as well.

Just been on to our wingman Trev (Brambo) and in spite of his current health difficulties he is willing to produce Octobers scenario for us so I hope we'll get to see a little more of him around the forum in the near future. Top Bloke !

Really good to hear this news.
Here's to our friend and brother pilot Trev.
Rob.

Welcome back Chris, although I thought Peter and I held up our end rather well considering we were outnumbered by 6, or 7 or was it 8:1?
To Trev, my wingman, its a warm welcome back into the war..even if it's a desk job for now. I'm sure you will be back flying missions again soon.
See you on the Dark Side......
I cannot be sure but I suspect not Paul as he is really suffering with his shoulders to the point that he's now awaiting surgery in the not too distant future to rectify the issue. This little distraction we hope may help take his mind off it at least for a few moments a day.

My work trips have been rescheduled so I think I will be jumping in in September.
For the Kaiser's Eagles, of course.
Pete welcome aboard. Now start rattling off those missions. With 3 of us on the team there is nothing that can stop the Eagles.
See you on the Dark Side......
With Pete joining us and Chris coming back, the Bulldogs will be cowering with their tail between their legs, if they had one!
Does that make us RedBulldogs then Baz ?!

We had Red Bull Flugtag (Flying Day) here in Portland a few weeks ago.
Good morning gents.... any room at the table?
Yeah, that was sorted about 12 hours ago !

And welcome back Chris aka fast.git and James aka FarEast who are also bolstering the Eagles numbers

Now we are talking. 5 Eagles! You Bulldogs might as well pack up and go home....the war will be over by Xmas!
See you on the Dark Side......
Welcome Pete - and welcome back James and Chris.
You're too pessimistic Neil - I suspect that for many Bulldogs the war will be over in April
Welcome or in several cases welcome back to the foray .
You may, however, regret putting on your flying kit after playing mission 16.
