    Default Additional Willaimsburg pics

As the group commander (Rich) reported the bombers approached the coast. Being fully loaded they were lumbering beasts. The escorts approached from each side and attempted to intercept the incoming fighters (109's & 190's). There was shooting by the Spitfires but did little damage to the German fighters. NOTE don't let a Fw190 get into close range and fire a full burst at you.....not good.... as the one Spitfire found out.

The action were the bombers being shot down and one Spit returning with damage. The lesson is that the bombers are very slow in flight. Started far from the coast and the defenders came on like junk yard dogs and tour up everything in their path. As the escort (Spitfire pilot) I find you should not get in front of a Fw190. Great game and had much fun.

I am interested in the material you used to conjoin the coastal mat to the seascape which looks like beach.

Long time no answer, sorry. The the sea and land are both cloth sold at WalMart over here. The beach is a water based paint on an cut piece of the ground material. The beach section is not wide and is covered by the larger ground section. The material sells for around $4 a yard over here.

Most of the unofficial cards were done by Max a while back. Jager has rescued most of them and are in his album section.

    Thanks Rich.
That has given me some ideas for my Malta coastline.
