RAF Mitchell?

Hello to all,

Im new to the game but I am working on a RAF force and would like to modify a Mitchell from USAF to RAF does somebody know where I can find some suitable transfers?

I think the doolittle model is a good start for a RAF Mitchell or am I mistaking?

Could use some help from some experts here

I'm doing the same at the moment. My Doolittle is beeing repainted into RAF colors. I'm using decals from Shed.

They are very good and you get lots of them on a decal sheet.

I can recommend Shed decals also, another possible place is on eBay, search for eBay shop 1/144 direct, he sells a comprehensive set of decals which may help you

Either would do but the standard model might be better for the firing arcs on the stand, the RAF Mitchell MkI was essentially a B-25c and the MkII a d model.
I`d also recomend the shed decals as they are to 1/200 scale and to the standard RAF WWII proportions so you shouldn`t have any problem finding some that fit and they also do RAF squadron code sheets the right size.
If you do decide to go down that route don`t forget to get the white backing decals as well though.
The initial cost of one of their sheets can seem a little high compared with whats available elsewhere but you get a LOT of decals for your money and wont need to by any more for ages.
