Narazil jsem při potulování se webem na zajímavý článek na Hospodářkách, který, mimo jiné, ukazuje grafický vývoj československých kokard. Dovoluji si výřez uveřejnit i tady, třeba to někomu přijde zajímavé.

Very interesting development of the markings I was not aware of. Our airforce used the white/red checkers from the start, without outlines at the beginning and inverted colours in the course of the time. The interesting thing is the colours switched places for someone came to the conclusion that colour white should precede the red according to heraldry rules, so the white is on the upper left corner from 1993 now on
"We do not stop playing when we get old, but we get old when we stop playing."
I think the problem was in round shape of the marking - most air forces of the world preferred this shape in those days. Situation with Polish marking is much easier because its square shape.
