    Default Confirming Solo Kills

Just a simple dice chart for awarding kills (mostly I intend to make use of it in my solo games). Any changes or additions that might need to be made?

    Confirming Kills: 2d6 (7+)
Enemy downed on enemy side of trench lines -3; Enemy downed on friendly side of trench lines +3; Any friendly aircraft within 1 rulers distance +1; Enemy aircraft was smoking +1; Enemy aircraft was on fire +2.

Is there a particular method that you use for solo gaming? I would love to try it.

Give Herkybird's rules a try Lance. They are a god-send for those of us without face-to-face opponents to fly against.
(Still trying to get my future SWMBO to fly against me, but if she is anything like she is when playing World of Tanks I will be in huge trouble to even score a single hit.)

Nice touch for solo gaming. It will not be so easy racking up the score and ace skills, as it should be.

You can find Richard Bradley's original Solo Rules (Including the "Clock Face" Template you'll need) HERE: http://tynesidewargames.co.uk/wowrules.html

You can find the charts for the Advanced version by our own Blackronin, which is the recommended version & used by the "Over the Trenches" Solo Campaign(s) here on the 'drome HERE:

I'd change 'Any friendly aircraft within 1 rulers distance' to within view or in front arc or something similar - within gun range seems a shade to close to me as he may claim the kill himself !! You have nothing for the boom card kills, or landing in No mans land ? And what about aircraft crashing near trenches or gun positions - even views from balloons ? Lots to think of !!

    Thanks, Troy.

I've just added this to my ongoing WW1 solo campaign:

    Kills Confirmation Table (2D6)

Kill is confirmed on a 7+

    Modifiers:
Enemy downed on enemy side of trench lines -3
Enemy downed on friendly side of trench lines +3
Any friendly aircraft within 1 rulers distance +1
Enemy aircraft was on fire +1
    Combat won +1
    Combat lost -1
Friendly balloon or friendly troops on scenario +1

This will add an extra layer of realism and story telling to my campaign.
I raise a glass on your health, Troy. Thanks.

Nice, Joaquim... I'm going to start using this! I am curious, though... what do you mean by "combat won"?

If your forces are the ones left on the game table or you were able to fulfil the scenario mission you won. If not, you lost.

You are the master and commander of "better-part-also-play-my-games", Andy. You should have a medal for that.

I figured it was something like that... thanks for the clarification, Joaquim.
