Smile A Solo Campaign - The Kindness of Strangers

    I've started a Solo Campaign in WW2.
I think that I have already enough planes to make it happen.
It's a campaign with several flashbacks (when the planes are ready for it ) that I will inter-ligate with the present. My pilot starts with 11 kills. He's an ace with two ace skills.

A modern-ish day version of "trailing the pike!" I plan to watch, study, and steal all the good ideas I can for a solo campaign of my own.

Please, be my guest. You don't have to steal them. They're all your for you to use.

    I hope you like it.
This campaign has some surprises coming soon.
    Keep tuned.

I have also started a solo campaign... of sorts. In a somewhat surprising quirk of fate, it is also called The Kindness of Strangers.

The campaign's prologue is located here: http://www.wingsofwar.org/forums/ent...-1-(A-New-Day) and introduces you to a newly-minted RAF Sergeant-Pilot who has been posted to No.1 Squadron in early May of 1940. As with Joaquim's campaign, you will learn more about the protagonist's background and exploits as the campaign unfolds.

    I hope you enjoy.

Both of these stories are going great guns Quim.
I can foresee my enjoyment mounting by the minute.

A Spanish Tale... an excellent example of taking advantage of one's situation! It's all about forward momentum...

I am finding this tale enthralling as it evolves, and now understand why certain questions have been asked.

The interest deepens in this story. I like your pitting the American aircraft against the MEs.
You are indeed starting to look every inch a Polish/ Portuguese Ace with your clever use of cards to thwart the enemies turning circle.
Here is to your next victory. I can't wait to see the application of all those little swastikas to your aircraft fuselage.
    Rob.

P.S. Air Commodore Kyte says tell his Nephew to keep his fingers off the G&T supplies.

    Where?
    No.

Too late anyway, they are being shipped to Malta even as we speak. Air Commodore Kyte is about to take up his new appointment.

Oh! That is really a relief.
I hope that Air Commodore Kyte knows that sometimes 7 crates of well packed gin bottles, when counted only count to five. A strange case of alcohol arithmetic...

Not in this case Quim. One of Raymond's men is traveling with the entire consignment handcuffed to his wrist.

Those crates that were loaded actually contained Kyte's traveling desk and furniture.

Don't labour too hard Joaquim. I hear those gas and air masks in the cockpit help quite a bit.
