I have a brace of these, waiting for an open workbench space.
Looking good david.

Yes that's the one
By my figuring, the E deck is correct too.

Thanks! I have to do a bit of searching for all my Shapeways builds since the change over! Keep an eye on your mail Karl : )
Oh I will, indeed.
So will the elves like cookies this Christmas?

Nice planes, but I think they need plane cards with the dimensions for heavy fighters.
Voilŕ le soleil d'Austerlitz!
Not really
Westland Whirlwind Length 32' wingspan 45'
Spitfire mk1. Length 30' wingspan 37' almost
Mosquito. Length 41' wingspan 54'
ME110. Length 40' wingspan 53'
So more towards the scout base for me
Looks bigger to me...
Especially with the four cannons in the nose.
Voilŕ le soleil d'Austerlitz!
With all these posts, you have to qualify for some end of year Kudos Clipper.

Once again, beautiful.
When I was 13 I've built a Whirlwind and I did really loved the lines of this bird. A single seat two engines fighter. I was terribly disappointed when I read that it was an inferior fighter. But it remains beautiful.
Beautiful, Mike.
As usual!
Incoming REP!
You are fast becoming an adept at knocking these cards out Mike.
Very good as usual.

It actually wasn`t all that bad.
It`s main problem was that it was a rather tight design built round a couple of engines that were at the end of their service lives.
The Perigrine was an end point development of the old Kestral, only remaining in production because it shared a lot parts with the troublesome Vulture engine and when the latter project was canceled so was the Perigrine!
Putting a couple of Merlins in it was considered but that involved major changes to the airframe, eventually the much heavier Welkin fighter evolved out of the design changes but by the time that plane appeared the RAF had lots of the equally capable Mosquito in service and didn`t need it.
A couple of decisions makes the fighter's fame. If the British had decide that they didn't want the P-51, probably it would become what it is now. Fate is the master of us all...
Um... now we figured out what the formula was for damage, it should be 20. (19.7 or so in fact).
I'm thinking the F deck is a better fit, also.
