Has anyone an idea on which of Keith's bases are best matches for the Blenheim bomber and the Savoia Marchetti 79?

I would use the typical He-111 bomber base size, Rob. But different firing arcs should be drawn. Maybe Mitchell's base shall be easily modified...

Thanks Andy.
I had not considered the Mitchell base I must admit.
For the Blenheim I was wondering about the Beau-fighter with the rear firing arc?

Beau base for the Blenheim would work fine indeed

I will go with those for the Blenheims then.

Things like these will be easy to make bases for once my laser shows up later this month.
You bet. Having the laser in house will open up a lot of options for custom products.
Guess that I will hold off for a bit then Keith and await the advent of your laser.

A Blenheim IV would need an extra firing arc adding to the Beaufighter base for the ventral gun. However, you could use the same base for Beauforts.
Does Keith have any control over the size of the holes in his bases, please? I was thinking that it would be easier if the holes were the same size as the projections on the altitude pegs rather than the diameter of the pegs.
Oh Dave!
Big base, small bit of the peg. More leverage, more broken pegs.

With the new laser coming, I'll be able to make bases with whatever size holes someone wants. These would fall under custom bases as they would differ from how I make my normal bases. As such there would be a surcharge, but I've not even begun to figure out what that charge would be. Reasonable in any case I'm sure.
You are right, Rob. I had not thought about that potential problem. Have you had that happen with your Ares bases?
Yep had a peg snap in the Ares base at RECON. Thought they went all the way through. A dremel drill bit and a couple of turns later and hey presto out she came. Plenty of spare pegs so no probs there. Cheers for the Hint Chris or was it Simon? Apologies.
See you on the Dark Side......
