Grabs your attention, don't it?
A car hit the bear first, rendering it airborne on a vector towards a second car. It came through the windshield of the second car. Brings up the question: How fast do you have to be going to hit a bear hard enough to propel it into the air?
Here's the story.
Brilliant ! Makes you wonder what other mammals get to fly up there ?!
Great one Chris. The bit I picked up on in the report was, "Collisions between vehicles and animals are common in Canada, which has a healthy population of large wild animals such as moose and deer." presumably not so large and healthy after all the collisions! Rob.
"Courage is the art of being the only one who knows you're scared to death."
Hitting any animal is scary, I know as I have hit three over the years. None were flyers
Kangaroos tend to be a nusance especialy if one jumps on the hood of your car at 100kph. On the other hand my father had the same problem with donkeys whilst working in the Middel East
Mythbusters already did moose; I should think bear wouldn't be too difficult.
If it was hit by a car, I guess that makes it...
[pause]
[evil grin]
[sunglasses]
...BEAR GRILLS.
