    Default Valom Nieuport 17

Just checked the Valom website and the 1/144 Nieuport 17 has been added to the list of model kits available.
    Not found any pics yet.

If they're like the DVII kit, they'll be very nice.

I was going to get one for an Albert Ball aircraft. Does anyone know what markings they come with? Thanks in advance.

They sent me four of them about 2 months ago and they have sat on the bench since last night

I was just posting progress up on the 'whats on your work bench for October'. These are being painted up in early RAF colours for the OTT Early Doors Campaign and will not follow any of the decal designs on the box.

I really love the Valom kits - and they have come with both a resin engine and standard injected mold for your own choice of build. They also come with a injected molded MG or the photo-etched metal gun which can be a little fiddly for those not used to working with such small metal parts.

one tip for those looking to use them for gaming is to use a 0.3mm drill to drill all the way through the wing to mount the struts and then file and sand any raised points before paint.

FOR THE RECORD THESE ARE ROUGH AND FAST BUILDS AS I NEED THEM FOR TOMORROW!

Looking good. Would you mind sharing what the decal options are as standard?

Thanks very much. Guess I'll be hand detailing one for Ball, then!
