Mary & I should get there about 17.30 so if anyone is a round a drink may be in order at a local Officers Mess

I will be about all day on Friday (being as I only live 5 minutes from the venue).. so closer to the day I will publish my phone number and act as 'Liaison Officer' for the day, so if anyone gets lost or wants to meet up for a few drinkies I can help out

If Andrzej's flight is on time, he, myself, and Eileen should be there by that time. where are you staying?

That will be very useful Chris.
Will we be able to drop stuff of at the venue, as I will have quite a bit of setting up to do.
Also is there anywhere to suspend a thin nylon line for hanging posters etc?
    Rob.

I have inquired about parking stuff on the Friday night - we would probably need to drop it before they close up (although that is something of a moveable feast) I will make the necessary arrangements, as for the 'wire,' from what I remember of the rooms I think that should be feasible.

I have secured us plenty of space at a local venue for anyone that wishes to kick the weekend off early by flying a few missions on the Friday night (until as late as we like actually)...

    Sounds ideal Chris.
Thanks for all the work you have put into this at your end.
I am just about sorted here.
All the orders for the weekend bar one have arrived, and that should be here tomorrow or Tuesday.

How much do they charge for a lorry, Chris? I can picture the whole gang singin' in the back!

Received the badges this morning, look quite snazzy in my opinion.

Can I take this opportunity just to remind all attendees, as we are so close.

Cost of the venue will be collected on the day, this is so we can see how many and divide the cost equally, so bring some spare cash.

The badges will be available to anyone on a first come basis, upto the total I have, currently I have around 22 allocated, cost will be £4 each.

    Badges
    Boney10 (Chris). 2
    Flying Helmut (Tim). 1

Count me in for a badge to if there are still enough available.

Around fridaynoon I'm arriving in London Pancras Station with the Eurostar. From there I'll be taking the train to doncaster. How can I best plan this? Is there a website I can use?

Really looking forward to this event. After beeing grounded for a long time I'll finally have some WOG time again. Combine that with meeting some of the most fantastic people here on the forum!

Would this be an approximate number of attending pilots?

Hi Peter, the list you ask about is only reservations for the Pin badge.
There are at least another half dozen attending , approximately 24 members have said they will be turning up for the event at my last count.
This week we shall be reminding members of the event and see if we can get more.
In any event we have lots of games to play and plenty of hot air to expell.
I look forward to meeting you and your good lady there

Hi Chris, I went with the badge count guessing it as a head count. Good to know there will be a few more attending. Just want to know as I have a (very) little something in mind. Looking forward to meeting everyone.
