    Indeed.

Fletcher's niece, Lois Porters, 75, of Brisbane, Australia, said: "We're grateful that a positive identification has finally been made."

Its funny how so many of these planes are being found by accident. Looking for something else and finding something you were not looking for. Just a few weeks ago there was a police dive team that was practicing some dives and found 2 cars in a pond. It is a Closed Case from years ago.

Nice to know they've been located -- but it grates at me that this accident shouldn't have happened; the "max load" and CG-calc table in the POH are *not* there for decoration.

Bob you're pulling out some nice finds. Its nice to see families getting closure and missing crews getting the proper burials they deserved. Good work.

Thanks when I get these stories and links I like to post them here for others to see. As long as I keep getting these I will keep them coming for all to see.
