Thank you Wayne and the same to you mate.
Thanks Wayne, I hope you got a sortie or two.
My Father's Day started off with a distinct WG flavour. The little wingman bought me an Immelmann Fokker E.III, just for repainting. I also bought my father a 'Harry Tate' I found languishing at a local FLGS, bringing his WGF collection to 10 miniatures. I took a swag of WGF gear around to Dad's place with the intention of getting a game going, but after morning tea with my siblings and their families, lunch on the beach, play in the park, then back to Dad's place where I loaded IL2 Sturmovik, Silent Hunter III, Panzer Elite Action and a number of other programs on Dad's new PC it was after 1700hrs and the opportunity was missed!
It would seem by all accounts that Father's Day in Australia is different to the UK. That said, Happy Father's Day to all our Australian members.
May I add my somewhat belated good wishes to Neil's to all my friends down under who are farthers.
Happy Fathers' Day chaps.
Rob.
Well, I didn't get anything remotely aviation-related, though my youngest daughter (well, my 27 year old) did give me a JB HiFi voucher so I can possibly stock up on some more DVDs!
I did pretty well on Father's day mainly through offering to pick something up for myself on behalf of my little lads (who are three and one respectively and a bit young to find something on their own).
Naturally I picked up half a dozen machines from Aerodrome Accessories.
That's the way to do it Muz !
