Thread: MvR Tribute Painting Contest - Voting part 2!

  1. #1

Default MvR Tribute Painting Contest - Voting part 2!

There was a wide selection of aircraft types available for this contest and contestants took full advantage of this unique opportunity.

Criteria you should look for when voting for your favorite entry:

    • Smooth paint
    • Crisp lines between colors
    • The Devil is in the details, take time to look for the painted details
    • Unique subject, is it a pilot/plane that you have seen a lot of?

I also suggest you note your top picks and come back after a while and view them again before voting.

    Good Luck everyone!

Really took my time over this... I usually hate it when judges on game shows state how difficult making a decision is etc.. But having tried miniature painting a truly appreciate how wonderful each entry really is. Well done each and every one of you...

Now to cast my vote... Err ..... Err...

  11. #11

Well it was not hard to vote for entries that were honestly better than mine, but it was still a chore to narrow it down. A whole lot of really sharp entries here. A lot more people deserve prizes than are going to get them, I'm afraid...

    Voted again.

That was a tough call. Took ages looking over all the lovely paint jobs. Well done to all of you guys. Ended up basing my choice on which of the planes I'd like most to have myself, that was the only way to do it.

To the creator of the Albatros C-III, did you make those decals or were they the ones from Reviresco?

I have plans to build a C.III, which is in line-up to build, using the same markings...

    Cheers,

    Andy

Home made Andy, as I could not find any on the Reviresco new formatted site.
Would you like me to send you the file.
