Thread: Which planes do you want to see on a T-shirt?

  1. #1

Default Which planes do you want to see on a T-shirt?

So, which t-shirts would you buy if Aerodrome Accessories printed them?

I wanted to add a second question of "how many more t-shirt designs would you support, but apparently you get one poll per thread...

I think a Gotha would be pretty sweet. I doubt many are aware that there were bombers in WWI.

Some of the WWII folks might have other suggestions.

  3. #3

I selected the Nieuport 17 because of its connection with Albert Ball, but would rather have liked to see the "Biff" included because of its connection with Nigel bouncer-Smythe.

I've selected the Fokker D.VII as it's my favorite German scout.

  5. #5

I have selected the Eindecker, for it's second to Dr.I iconic and easy to recognize plane of the Great War IMHO. And probably the first bird of prey of all time ("Fokker Scourge"), First to perform immelmann aggressive turn as well.

I stuck with stuff that had minis in the game. Heck, I don't think these even have official maneuver decks yet.

Love me some DH 2 action! Along with the Eindecker and SE 5a and Dr. I (because I ordered one...) All four are iconic planes.

Now for the WW2 equivalent...as I slowly and quietly dip my toes in the Water from the Dark Side...

    All the best,
    Matt

which is why I voted generically as opposed to for a specific type

I would definitely buy t-shirts from AA so long as the idea encompassed both WW1 / WGF and WW2 / WGS. This is why in support though I am a full-time WGS player I would buy a WGF t-shirt as I do play now and again: Well, whenever the opportunity to play WGF arises

Which types? Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress has to be a must IMHO. I also reckon the Bristol Beaufighter would make an awesome t-shirt design ...

I opted for a Pfalz III. Just like the lines of the plane, and it fits on a T shirt

I agree with Paul, the Pfalz D.III is one streamlined and attractive plane!

I voted multi.nieuports were graceful. Spads appeared solid and swift.camels about the same.but the albatrosses and pflaz were like the sharks of the air.menacing and beautiful at the same time.like 7eat51 said"gothas, people are'nt aware of WWl bombers.
