Baracca's SPAD XIII colour scheme

Is it the correct one??

In my Osprey "Italian WWI aces" this scheme appears as a SPAD VII, not as a SPAD XIII.

I can't find this colour scheme in Baracca's SPAD XIII in internet.

And, the last but not less important question... why does not appear the "cavallino rampante" in the Baracca's plane??????

I checked my limited resources and could only find a camouflaged SPAD XIII in Baracca's scheme. It had the prancing pony on the side if the fuselage as well. I will say this, so far Andreas has been very accurate with his planes and paint schemes.

That's why I'm so surprised.

I've only found the camo scheme on the SPAD XIII. Every picture I've seen about the SPAD VII has the orange-yellow-whatever scheme...

And always with the prancing horse (cavallino rampante)!!

I've only ever seen a camo or green SPAD XIII pictured for Baracca too. The WoW model looks like his SPAD VII colours, but without the "prancing pony" and the black X on the side.

I wonder if the cavallino rampante was left off because it's copyrighted by Ferrari ?

If you want the F-Toys SPAD VII, in Baracca's colors check out the F-Toys thread on this site. It(F-Toys SPAD VII) has the prancing pony plus the black X.
