    Hi All !

I'm a French Guy, living in Lisbon for the time being. I'm fond of Aviation and Wargames.

I just received Wings of Glory WW2 for Xmas (thanks Santa). I already play Wings of War WW1 for few years.

One of my numerous projects is to create a campaign based on the "Battle of Britain".

Nice game and good hunting !

Welcome from Poland, Olivier There are some fine Portuguese pilots stationed in Lisbon; one I met in person and we had some (well, more than some) beers in this phenomenal city: Joaquim, AKA Blackronin [not active recently, however...]

Thanks Andrzej. I saw already few profiles of Lisbon Pilots. I hope that I'll find some of them around here for a couple of games or couple of beers ...

These are some photos of our Battle of Britain that we played down in Dayton. The mat file can be found in the File section. Also if you want a custom mat done just private message Luis AKA IBERIAN SHADOW. That is where I get all of my mats from.

Many Thanks Thomas for the details. I already found few interesting documents about it on this site. My idea is to mix the solitaire wargame RAF Lion vs Eagle from Decision Game with a miniature game like WoW / WoG to resolve the aerial combats. I already did few tests but if I'd like to maintain the real wargame scale, I desperately need tons of aircrafts ...

    Salut Paul
    Bonjour Paul,

Yes I've already got few contacts around Lisbon with kind Portuguese Pilots.

I usually spend short stays in La Rochelle for annual vacations. There is a Boardgame club in my little town (15kms from La Rochelle in fact) and I have to contact them. Otherwise, if you have a chance to go to La Rochelle during the period I'll be there, it will be a pleasure to play few games with you ...

And as we said in the French Aéronavale : La chasse Bordel !!
    Bon vol !

    Thanks Chris.

For sure, a couple of Me 110 are already scheduled. As well as a Gloster Gladiator and a Beaufighter to bomb / torpedo german ships.

Good flight and Good Huntng !

Many Thanks to all of you for your messages.

Since Xmas, I've got more than 20 minis of WGS. And more are coming for my birthday.

Since I am on this forum, I started to play with ships (thanks to Thomatchef), already got a Wingman (Hi Rob !) and planned to play BoB based on campaign found on its site.

What can I expect more ??? Spend more time with Wife ??? Yes Sugar, I'm coming, leaving my computer now

Thanks again and good hunting !
