Mainly, becasue if you look in the file section you will find the full rulebook, which has a bunch of decent scenarios(which need modifying of course) and plenty of Squadron/Aerodrome/Plane Type lists, well worth a look for those who like to add a little extra colour to there campaigns/scenarios.

Thanks for the link and info Chris - really appreciate this. I really like GMT's stuff. Andy Lewis is an absolute pleasure to talk to/converse with. I am going to have to pick it up and see what we can beg, borrow and steal (perhaps with Terry Simo's blessing of course).

I received my GMT pre-order a few weeks ago. This is a deep, heavy box of stuff ... and a lot of stuff there is. Dozens of squadrons and Jasta, plane types, etc. Looks great.

I was involved in beta testing to then go onto o help with the Solo rules. Sadly i didn't have the time to do much. However it is an AMAZING game. No other game recreates the airwar in as much detail and as well as this beauty.

Seriously any WW1 airwarfare fan needs this boardgame.
