To all of you your repaints are great .

Red Eagle looks like a nice model, well done.
My Nieuport 11 repaints . Lt. Jean Navarre's blue red white stripe & Lt Armand de Turenne's One Italian balloon buster
I wish I could paint....
Very tasty they are too Darell.
A few French machines also make a pleasant change.

Nice N11s Darell. Navarre and Turenne are my favorites.
This is my Nieuport 11 from Valom with a fantasy paint scheme for my ongoing solo campaign.
This is my Valom's Nieuport 11 in Lisbon's livery. It's a captured plane for my ongoing solo campaign Wings of War and Glory.
Cracking job Quim.
Hope to see it in action soon.

Thanks Rob, inspired by the old WoW card for Leffers N.11, only his appears to have a maxim rather than the Lewis..

Very nice Nieuport repaint Dave!

That was quick. How long (short) was it an ARES plane before you repainted it! Nice job!

Great work everybody and thanks for sharing. Don't know why but I especially like the captured birds. The N11 sure is a beautiful craft.

Having purchased two Italian Sottetenete Giovani Ancilotto Nieuport 11 Bebe scouts I looked for an alternate scheme for my 'spare' - and found a dearth of information.
In the end I selected Nieuport 11 serial N.1763 assigned to 75 Squadriglia Caccia in the second half of 1916. The squadron was formed at Tombetta field on 1 May 1916 under the command of Captain Scarpis Maffeo and assigned to the 3rd Air Defence Group with the task of protecting the city of Verona. I have not been able to determine precisely which pilot flew the aircraft as yet but there are several candidates named in this web article - http://www.ilfrontedelcielo.it/files_5/57_75.htm (in Italian).
This was a very quick re-identification of the 'Bebe'. First I removed the existing serial number decal from the fuselage using some Micro-Sol and a sharp blade.
Then I measured the side and top of the fuselage and printed a homemade decal (image below) which I applied to the fuselage just behind the cockpit.
I made the decal about an eighth of an inch longer than the measurement to make sure it was not short then used a very sharp pair of craft scissors to trim the end.
Nice. Another plus for the Italians.
A good job Carl, and very thoughtful to include the Decal in case anyone wishes to emulate your fine conversion.
Just can't get enough Italian myself.

Great work on the N.11s Peter, that Rose decal looks suitably delicate.
Fantastic stuff once again!
Rosie's in good hands, then.

Some more nice looking aircraft Peter....I am so far behind its not even funny.
Superb trio Peter, well done.

Thanks Kelly. Putting on games is great for hitting the painting list hard and fast. I love to paint but sometimes I fall off the pace I want so I submit games that make me paint up some planes I don't already have. This then gets me back into a painting groove and other planes get done too.
This works if the planes I 'need' to paint for the upcoming battle are types I do not have or don't have enough of. I agree it is difficult to paint more of what you already have more than enough of. Luckily I don't have many in that catogory yet.
Thanks Darell.
Come on, Peter - with a 20-ought brush you can paint the '12' on the pennant! These three look smashing, too! Great work and continued inspiration
All the best,
Matt
Superbly rendered N11s Pete. They are so crisply done.
