Thread: Ae800 / Caquot Base Size?

  1. #1

Default Ae800 / Caquot Base Size?

Was wondering if I could get some help for a new modelling project of mine.
What is the size of the card and/or base for the Ae800 or Caquot balloon?

    Thanks in advance.

Thanks! That's rather a lot wider, and somewhat larger overall, than I would have thought.

According to my (admittedly hasty) research, the balloon itself at 1:144 is only ~175mm x 55mm. (This is based on dimensions I found for a Caquot M at 82' x 26'8".)

I hope that this is correct, as the model is already well advanced. Can anyone confirm this?
