Yes I noticed Rob, I got another Tripe for Collishaw, but I reckon that Aries will do him when they get around to the triplanes, so I thought I'd wait. But will have all the Black flight for next years Triples

That Collishaw was the first aircraft that I built in 144 nearly three years ago.

Nicely done Tony. Shapeways seem to be getting the hang of the Knitting problem, or is it just a lot of work on your part?
    Whoes plane is N 5387?

Brilliant paint job on both the Tripehound and the Tank.
It must have been flying really fast in that first picture! That's the beauty of mobiles. They get fixated on one dominant feature, and it's usually not the one you want.
As for stopping smoking, just avoid them shooting holes in your oil feed pipe.
When I stopped, I had an ashtray full of all my old stubs and ash, and every time I felt like a smoke I went and smelt it. You could try that, it worked for me.

Nice Tripehound Hayden - what make is it ? I gave up smoking during a bout of flu then to maintain it I thought about how much it was costing me in tax...the anger fuelled the determination to stop - plus it gave me more money to spend on wargames stuff !

She's an SRAM, and i'm sorry about the tank making an appearance but these are the only pics I have of my lonely tripe
I'm on tablets to help me quit smoking, but you don't want to know the side effects

I may give her a 'maiden' sortie this weekend, vs one of Baron Rolfs DR.1's.

This one has been waiting in the hangar to get some paint...

    Its a Kampflieger Shapeways model.

I found the porfile on line but didn't bother with the serial number as i have no way to print white letters

Close up pictures always emphasize little flaws so it looks like I'll have to do something about the squadron markings...one of the bars has a little "hook"

    Very nice looking model Alex.
I'm suprised you have not ventured into the realms of white decal paper for your serial number.

I think it was back in the summer (hopefully not last spring) that I bought a Shapeways Tripe for Son#1. The first one was a total wreck, so Shapeways sent me another. That, too, was a total wreck, and they sent me a credit which I used on something else. I did promise Son#1 a plane, and this weekend I was finally able to finish one of those two Shapeways planes. The knitting is still visible in places, but if I showed you a pic of the other plane, which was just as bad, you'd cringe.

The colors were of #1's choosing. His favorite color is blue.

And yes, at the moment I'm "boycotting" Reviresco pilots. It's not that I don't like them, but I'm looking around for something I like better.
