And of course, we must always have a beautiful woman singing a sad song at the piano... If if she's from another front.

A lot of pictures. But it was fun.

LT.CO. Schneider used his ace ability with great success.

First time I had shared kills. Schneider & Chapman were a good team.

Just an advice for the AI planes. Don't start to near at the egde of the map.

Had some problems with the KI fighters maneuvering. They need place to operate.

Sadly not ML: 'The consumption of alcohol on board U.S. Navy vessels was prohibited by General Order 99, effective 1 July 1914, issued by Secretary of the Navy Josephus Daniels on 1 June 1914.' http://www.history.navy.mil/faqs/faq32-1.htm

    Default Special Pacific Mat!

At last my new Pacific mat is ready for play
I placed an order in a local printing office and after 3 hours I took the printed fabric 90 x 180 cm. 42 Euros, but worth the price.
The picture below does not show the whole thing (it's huge!), but you can get a brief look.

    Great, Andrzej.

It's the Tarawa gaming mat from the file section, I suppose.

So what's going on my fellow Midway fighters?

I'm waiting for some missions to see how you solve the attack/defense of Midway Island.

I think I'll design the next mission this week:

Scenario 2: Find the Flat Tops! (Both Japanese and American players will send patrol planes that will tangle with defensive fighters)

    Shouldn't be a problem.

    Hey guys,

I don't have much time at the moment but I confirm that I will play those scenario on the japaness side !
Sorry for the time it take :/

See you soon for the AAR ^^

Shame on us we haven't continued it so far, Rob. Sven and me played the first scenario and I do want to continue the campaign
But first of all Mission 13th of our OtT Campaign awaits me...

  36. #36

    That's right, Andrzej.

I'm a little bit unhappy that this will be a two-man-show.

As our WW I campaign it would be the best if Japanese players and US players finished one mission after the other...

There he is: Our first Japanese AAR from Marcoperse.

Time to drink a few beer with our newest campaign member.

...and I found something funny in the world wide web:

    Thanks for the beer Sven

I posted my second mission AAR too: another bloody bath made by the Agaki Squadron

No chances for Us at all , and now my Officers acquired new skills.
Could I promote an officer when he will become an ace or everybody will have the same grade through all the mission?
But now, no thinking at battles at all. let's start drinking!!!

It's an italian trasmission made by the main RAI channel it was called one minute of history

    A worse picture mix...

For promotion: This campaign lasts a few days. I think it would be the best to promote them after the campaign.

Otherwise we know the result for the Japanese side.: Maybe it's needless

Maybe we should allow the ability: Long Range Swimmer

Could be useful in my Naval actions.
Kyte drinks like a fish, it would be good if he could swim like one.

It's one thing to cross the Channel swimming in 1917 - another to swim 1942 from Midway to the nearest Japanese controlled island.

    You are right Sven.
The North Sea can be a lot colder at this time of year. It is O.K. though because my Naval game was based in East Africa.

This morning at 4 am on Focus channel (don't know if it exists only in Italy) there was "Battle plan" speaking about the US Pacific campaign!!! the worst thing was that I have to go work at 4,30 and so I couldn't watch it 'til the end :-(
I'm looking for it on internet.

What an extensive set of paintings. It will take days to absorb all the details in that lot.
