For those of you who have not had the opportunity to read this autobiography of Cecil Lewis ,one time RFC ace and later director of the BBC can I recommend you do if you get the chance.

It was used as the basis for the film Aces High, which no doubt one or 2 of you out there might have seen but the book itself is well worth a read .

Available on E bay for a very modest price 99p + 2.50 p&p.
