    Hi all,

    I was just at a local model train exhibition here in Canberra and the local Model Engineers Society has one of these on display;

    It is so cool that I may need to start saving up....

    Wonder if they'd be willing to try some experimental prints?

    At a glance, it looks like it would be cheaper than what Herr Oberst was talking about a few weeks ago.
    Is this the same process as Shapeways?

    Yes, much cheaper and not nearly as capable either. It is also not the process that Shapeway uses, or any of the large higher quality print companies are using that I know of.

    Looking at flat surface printed by it, seems to have pretty major grow line issues, even if the resolution is said to be at 12 microns.
