So I wonder, if anyone else has build/painted a Fokker D.VI:
I´ve done mine in full-collor-lozenge fabric (decals) - as most early machines - later ther were 4-, 5-color and mixed lozenge fabric in use.
It seems that the welded fuselage were stored a while until rotary engines where available (Balkenkreuz on fuselage generally used March - April 1918) and the wooden wings were build at time, when the engine was there to be installed (Balkenkreuz on wings generally used May 1918 until wars end).
Sometimes 4-and 5-color-lozenge-fabric varied between fuselage and wings.
