Again, a great paint job. You'll have a Jasta in no time.

Wow, my first repaints sure did not look like this! Great work. I particularly like the way you did the engine and the border around the cockpit.
Wonderful!
Really nice Albatroses! Love 'em!
Coming along really well John. They will look great on the table all together when they are finished.

Thank you all for your kind words, and these are easier and more fun to paint then my Napoleonics.

Very cool stuff.
Absolutely beautiful Jasta, Tim.
Yes.
And great backgrounds. Really give the impression of being in the air!
Absolutely beautiful Tim! The pic's of them in flight together, or all lined up for display, are simply breathtaking.
Thanks all!
See the whole 12-plane Jasta on the Jasta/Flik thread.
Excellent repaints. These are quite beautiful. Well done!
Eric
Well done Tim.
They look very nice and even more so when together.
As someone else mentioned, the background on your photos is very cool.
Top notch work mate!
Tim,
Great looking group and all very well done.
John
Thanks all!
Very neat clean lines on that plane Jorgen.

Lovely job, Jorgen!
Excellent choice.
Very nice work Jorgen! Clean and crisp.
Beautiful paint job, Jörgen. Simple yet elegant, and the contrast between blue and red is striking!

I'm not a happy bunny though, I had the pane finished last night awaiting to have the decals put on this morning. We had an earth quake and something fell off a shelf and smashed it..... this is how she looks after some touch up paint and glued back together. Took me an hour to find one of the wind struts and couldn't find the cooling pipe to the over wing radiator

Good grief James you certainly live life to the full in Japan. Glad things were no worse.
You have patched it up very well.
I'll never complain again when my cat sits on a model.

Great job, James, particularly the tail!
I must get my one done.

I was slightly miffed and had to have a sit down with a GnT, I know it wasn't 11 o'clock but I felt the moment justified it.
On a more serious note, after the big one in 2011 these little 3's and 4's on the scale pale in comparison.
Many thanks, I have two more on the bench as we speak and I keep trying to sneak in a quick 10 - 15 minutes between the 's issued commands.
Very nice aircraft everybody. Sorry about the mishap James. I grew up in Southern California and we had occasional earthquakes. I will never forget having just completed the "Red Baron" silly car in 1/24 scale, a gift from my uncle. I put it up on my display shelf and before it even had a chance to dry we had an earthquake, a 5 iirc, and off the shelf came the model smashing on my hardwood bedroom floor. Bits and parts went everywhere. Unfortunately it could not be recovered and I was a crushed 9 year old boy. Glad you could repair your aircraft.
I'm glad the airplane was the most serious casualty Jim. at least it was mostly repairable.
I had a large dnd dragon mini take a header due to an earthquake back in the 80s. i was able to glue it back together but it never fit quite right so i never finished it. we called it the earhtquake my grandma started!!! being a jovial person she really bellylaughed when something struck her funnybone. that fateful day i told heard a joke id heard (unfortunately lost to time), she flopped back on the couch in one of her belly laughs AND THE GROUND BEGAN TO SHAKE!!!!!! brings a whole new meaning to the phrase "when you laugh the whole world laughs with you".

Some more nice work James. I guess a plane is only safe up in the air during a quake.
Living here in Iowa I have never experienced one.....However my son, after completing a couple of tours in the Middle East was stationed in Japan during the big earthquake.
Kelly where was he stationed?
They had a pretty big after shock right on the mountain their about 3 days after the main quake.
As I recall, he told me there were several aftershocks.
doh, just noticed the lack of paint where the sprew was cut on the nose cone and one of the wheels!
