    Just finished three of these beauties....







    These are designed to operate as a uit on table. Notice the leader's streamer between the struts on the lead plane.

    Shapeways Albatros C.VII by Daryl @ 'Reduced Aircraft Factory', with drilled 'Reduced Aircraft Factory' peg attachment.

    All paint colours 'Vallejo' unless otherwise noted.

    Pilot and Observer; "Flat Earth" body, "Bronzed Flesh" face, "Leather Brown" helmet and gloves, "Silver" goggles.
    Fuselage: "Flat Yellow", overpainted with "Natural Wood", "Pale Grey Green" engine panels, louvres, struts, undercarriage, wing step panels, cowling ring and spinner (and also wheel covers). Cockpit rim "Cavalry Brown".
    Rudder; "German Clear Doped Linen" by 'Misterkit'
    Wings: upper surface 'Misterkit' "Albatros Dark Green" and "Albatros Pale Green" with 'Vallejo' "Cavalry Brown", underside 'Misterkit' "Albatros Pale Blue".
    Tyres "Cold Grey".
    Engine and Radiators: "Oily Steel", inked with Black Ink, then drybrushed "Silver". Added drybrushed 'Vallejo Air' "Rust" exhaust.
    Prop blades: "Yellow Ochre", overpainted with "Natural Wood".
    Guns: "Oily Steel" drybrushed "Silver".

    Overall Matt Varnish, except for Satin Varnish on metal panels and plywood fuselage.

    Decals by 'Aviation Wings', 'Aerodrome Accessories', "1/144 Direct", and homemade Serial Numbers.

    The attention to detail is excellent -- just looking at the pictures you would guess they are 1:72 or larger. The Albatros C.VII was the most common German two-seater in early 1917, just before the meteoric rise of the D.F.W. C.V.

    Good luck, my fingers are too big for this work really on Valom kits. I did use all the metal parts apart from the rear gun
