Snoopy, at long last, escaped from the POW camp and made his way back across no-man's land to the Allied trenches.
He was pleasantly surprised to find that his friend, Woodstock, joined the flying corps and will now serve as his wingman.
They quaffed several root beers at the officer's club and rose at zero-dark-thirty to go on dawn patrol.
Now, they are chasing the bloody Red Baron back to Berlin.
