Caproni Ca.3
I finally painted the three Shapeways aircraft given to me by my fiancé at Christmas. These are my first Shapeways, and I really like them!
This is the Caproni Ca.3. I had some problem finding a French aircraft not using radial engines to use as reference, so I simply just painted it like this. The bumpy surface of the plastic make the dark green almost look like metallic paint when photographed using flash.
The rear gunner's basket is made from the modified plastic tip of a pen.

I will use the card of the CEP 115 Caproni. Not totally accurate, but close enough for me.

Nice work, and a good bit of improvisation where necessary!

I particularly like your rear gunner's basket! Well done that!

Very nice job and a very inventive solution for the basket

Good to see the art of improvisation is not dead Jorgen.
That will do you proud on the Wargames table I am sure.
