A neat find in the middle of nowhere. Cool that they have the pilots name and squadron not so cool thinking of him trying to walk out of the Sahara

Keep on searching. We'll find the whole Squadron, soon.
It's a sad thing, that the chances to find the pilot, are so low...
A fate, that he has in common with many WW II pilots.
I'm reading a book about JG 27 at the moment. The famous Jagdstaffel that fought vs. the RAF in North Africa. They lost pilots to the mediterranean sea in the north and the desert in the south and never heared about them or found informations or tracks.
Rest in Peace comrades.

Yes indeed R.I.P.
It makes you realize just how many must be still out there dotted around the world waiting to be re discovered.
Rob.
R.I.P to all of them.
A lonely death for Flight Sergeant Dennis Copping, and he was only 24. Brave men all who fought and died.
i salute you brave men
