Ok, Joaquim seems still busy.
I heared many arguments. One point: I won't keep one of my pilots at any cost. Other point: Can't kill him without dooming other pilots with this ace ability.
So I change the death dice roll to the most worse injury result:
3-4 - Severely Injured - Skip 1D6 Scenarios
1d6 → [2] = (2)
http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/3608457/
Escape:
1d12 → [3] = (3) + 2 ace - 2 explosion = 3 - Captured and escaped! - Skip 1D3 Scenarios
http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/3608458/
skip:
1d3 → [1] = (1)
http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/3608460/
So Harper is out of action for the next 3 sceanrios.
I hope you could accept my decision.
No problem for me at all, Sven.
That was indeed a difficult issue and I fully understand your decision and the change you made.
However it doesn't change my mind as far as ACH ability is concerned: I will never choose it for any of my PCs and NPCs. But that's a personal choice of every campaign participant
That seems fair to me Sven. I have marked up the spreadsheet accordingly
Fine with me too. I'll send a telegram to his wife with the news that he has escaped and is alive in Hospital.
Kyte.
Andrzej, we need another roll for an Eagle pilot:
Fwbl Juergen Kleins - wounded - returned to base.
I will roll the dice of death tomorrow. Tonight the dark harvester is fed up, my friend... Eagles do not mourn, they just wipe out the tears and fight on. Hope the Brits will honour the fallen...
Spreadsheet updated with latest data from here & the AAR - will need rolls for Tavy & Hibbet Sven.
You will note I have put (Ace) next to the deserving pilots names - that's to remind (me, mostly) to check their Ace skills before I start the game - hope you all find that useful too.
Peter Hibbet (ace) - shot down in flames over friendly territory.
1d12 → [3] = (3) + 2 ace = 5 Injured - Skip 1D3 Scenarios
http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/3611395/
1d3 → [2] = (2) Skip 2 scenarious
http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/3611398/
Jim Tavy (wounded) exploded over friendly territory
1d12 → [1] = (1) - 1 wióunded - 3 exploded = - 3 Dead! KIA
http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/3611396/
What can I say?
I'm sorry for the Bulldogs. Tavy is gone. Two deaths in one half/mission.
The dark harvester has just opened it's account.
Hope he wouldn't make an ACE during the next half of the mission.
Nightbutcher.
Details noted Sven - I think Pauls flight is truly representing the war - that is his sixth loss of the campaign and fourth in three missions !
Bruce (Chips) Woodhead
1d12 → [2] = (2) + 3 safe return = 5 Skip 1D3 Scenarios
http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/3612780/
1d3 → [3] = (3) skip 3 scenarios
http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/3612784/
Thanks Sven - updated the spreadsheet - I have credited that third kill to Woodhead as he had the last squirt at it.
Lt. John Farmer crashed - over enemy territory
1d12 → [4] = (4) Severely Injured - Skip 1D6 Scenarios
http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/3619031/
1d6 → [2] = (2) skip 2 scenarios
http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/3619032/
Escape
1d12 → [12] = (12) They didn't even saw me!
Cpl. Joe (Dodger) Dodgson crashed - over enemy territory
1d12 → [5] = (5) Injured - Skip 1D3 Scenarios
http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/3619040/
1d3 → [3] = (3) skip 3 scenarios
http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/3619042/
escape
1d12 → [9] = (9) Skip 1 Scenario
http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/3619047/
Thats the luck of the Irish for you.
They don't call him Dodger for nothing.
I thought they were both gonners for sure when that plane went down.
Lt. Ginger Blaney will have to wait in the wings for his transfer a little while longer then. He is an old mucker of Bouncers from the old days, and keeps putting in for a transfer to 52.
Kyte.
Major Herbert 'Bert' Billings (ace) - save return - wounded
1d12 → [6] = (6) ace + 2 safe return + 3 = 11 All well when you land well!
http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/3630380/
Sergeant George Zeller - shot down over no-man's land
1d12 → [6] = (6) Injured - Skip 1D3 Scenarios
http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/3630382/
1d3 → [1] = (1) skip 1 scenario
Flying Officer Robert 'Bobby' Kline - shot down over enemy territory
Crash roll
1d12 → [8] = (8) Bruised - Skip 1 Scenario
http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/3630385/
Escape roll:
1d12 → [3] = (3) Captured and escaped! - Skip 1D3 Scenarios
http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/3630386/
1d3 → [3] = (3) Skip 3 Scenarios
http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/3630388/
Flying Officer Joseph 'Money' Spamoni - shot down over enemy territory
Crash roll
1d12 → [5] = (5) Injured - Skip 1D3 Scenarios
http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/3630390/
1d3 → [1] = (1) skip 1 Scenario
http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/3630391/
Escape roll:
1d12 → [2] = (2) - Captured! The war ended for this pilot...

Thanks Sven. Too bad we lost such a sharpshooter in Money. But at least Bobby was able to make it back.
Let us know the name of his replacement Todd.
We really need the Mission 9 results for the Eagles pilots now...
29. Lt. Alexander Seitz - shot down over friendly territory - unknown result
30. Lt. Uwe Schmidt - exploded over friendly territory - unknown result
35. Lt. Thomas Goesswein - shot down over friendly territory - unknown result
36. Lt. Wilhelm Appis - exploded over friendly territory - unknown result
37. Lt. Norbert Hofmann - shot down over friendly territory - unknown result
Uuuups, my delay, I suppose.
I will decide their fate today!
Thank you, Wingman!
That's my duty
Thanks Andrzej - Spreadsheet updated - those boys took a mauling in one mission - could have been worse, Rob could have used them !!
Mission 10:
Rod Hawkwood (ace) - crashed over friendly territory
1d12 → [11] = (11) + 2 (ace) = 13 All went well!
http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/3644104/
Have we got results for Jach & Eberstark yet ?
Yes we have the latest reports from our outposts near the frontline.
Both of our aces returned to their unit.
Eberstark was lucky enough to safely bring his crate down and landed quite well (11). Then he rushed through the trenches (12) and was carried back to the drome.
Fit for the next scenario.
Jach was far less lucky. Being wounded he lost control over his perforated kite and crashed. He was injured during the crash (4 - 1 + 2 = 5), but somehow managed to leave the smoking wreck and crossed the line (10 - 1 = 9).
He will skip 2 scenarios
An opportunity to capture two aces missed ! I will write a strongly worded note to the local infantry commander !! Next time....
The Eagles try hard to survive the incoming onslaught!
I shot down Lt. Carsten Rückert over no-man's-land.
Result?
FO Robert Picton - Crashed in no-man's-land
1d12 → [1] = (1) = killed in action
http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/3653076/
Great... Two killed pilots in one mission.
You should get Andrzej to roll for you Sven he gets better results !!
We need a roll for the fate of Leutnant Arno Kremp when you have a moment Andrzej - Smitty lost him with the prototype !
...and lost him forever. KIA.
See this:
http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/3654933/
I have just decided Rueckert's fate in the Invisible Castle.
Check your AAR, Sven.
Captured!
I have just learnt how to use Invisible Castle rolling with such unlucky rolls!
That's more like it !!
Mission 10 Charles "Chuck" Spellman
1d12 → [10] = (10) + 3 safe landing at areodrome = All went well.
http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/3678730/
Duly noted !
Luke Wright-Rownde for Mission 11: (wounded - returned to Base)
1d12 → [4] = (4) + 3 RtB = 7 Bruised - Skip 1 Scenario
http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/3695854/
Thanks Sven ! Noted on the records.
Mission 11
Lt. Harry Norwich - wounded - returned to base
1d12 → [1] = (1) + 3 = 4 Severely Injured - Skip 1D6 Scenarios
http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/3717232/
