Love it! ;)
:thumbsup:ROFL!
OMG, it even had probes on it!!
:cheezy: I suppose thats just us getting even!;)
Actually it is even more ironic than the caption suggests.
That saucer just hovered above the surface for a few minutes and then flew off again.
Rob.
Fantastic stuff, even with today's technology how did we ever manage to land a man on the moon back in 69:eek:
I wonder what the Martians press will write about it.
:lol:Visits are not always welcome ...

Fair point, well delivered, I'm sure HG Wells never thought of this one
It's amusing, but does it really count as irony if the whole concept of flying saucers was dreamt up by us earthlings in the fist place?
Seems more like karma to me. Or is karma and irony actually the same thing? - Now wouldn't that be irony?

Nice cartoons there. But to get a bit more serious. Have you guys ever heard of Cydonia region of Mars and geometrical (not only the face!) structures there?
The book written by Hancock, Beauval and Grigsby "The Mars Mistery" (or sth like that) opened my eyes. Look at this...

The truth is out there...
Or maybe nearer than we all think...
I just hope to be alive when we meet someone new.

Yeah...;)
I'm going to start a new thread about this kind of thing in the Mess right away...
Zoe very intresting thought. Well always have "THE BELL" german WWII flaying saucer. Andrezj it was somewhere Poland that they were testing it.
O yes, I read a book about it. There are even some special constructions called "a fly trap" left over. They were situated near Książ Castle...
The phrase you really don't want to hear.
"We have had an anomaly."

What about Elvis? Where's Elvis?
Blackadder: Baldrick, have you no idea what irony is? Baldrick: Yes, it's like goldy and bronzy only it's made out of iron.

Ever the font of wisdom...
Much worse than than, Rob... Much worse...
They are maintaining a cheesy business there...
Cheddar, I think, they are bringing bucket-loads of cheddar and it is causing terrible environmental problems in the moon...
So sad...

A cool page showing the landing sequence.
Very clear and concise graphics and notation Keith, A bit like our AAR's really.:D
Rob.
Yep, so easy a monkey could do it!
Very instructive. Thanks, Keith.
Facinating stuff, thanks Heer Oberst I was trying to find out what was the sequence for the landing. As for the Moon landings being fake, you had to be there at the time to know they were real. Also there is one way to prove the landings were not fake, send a satellite to photo the half of the Lunar module that stayed behind (you could probably even use the the Hubble telescope to to do that)!
Nice graphics.Thinking of how many components were needed to land Curiosity, I found this cartoon quite amusing.
