Revised Deluxe Edition

It's here, it's here! Hot-diggitty-dog, its here!!! My Wings of War: WWI Revised Deluxe edition, that is.:)

My first impression was "wow", what beautiful minis (with their own maneuver decks), and a very finished/easy to use instruction booklet (complete with scenarios) and several colorful counter sheets. In addition to the above, the set included 4 'Bomb' cards, 14 assorted 'Target' cards. I was a bit surprised, however to find... 88 'B-deck' damage cards, but only 14 'A-deck' cards.:eek:

WTF?!? :confused: I read somewhere that the Revised Deluxe Edition was supposed to include a double-sized 'A-deck', but I don't even have a complete single 'A-deck'.:mad: It appears that I received a double 'B-deck' instead. But none of the planes in the set use the 'B-deck'. I guess the extra 'B-deck' cards may come in handy, ... eventually...

Since they don't even sell Damage-Decks by themselves (missing a marketing opportunity, I think), what am I to do?:confused:

Hi sorry to here about your problems.

I had something sorta similar with Flying Aces. It had no A Deck at all. I emailed Fantasy Flight Customer Service and they sent me a new one that week.

Send them an email and their customer service is fantastic.

My experience has been to either E-mail or call and they will take care of the problem as long as they have some product stock on hand. I found them to be very responsive!

Just received mine and it contains, A deck = 1 through 70
B deck = 1 through 44
2 bomb cards
4 target cards
3 A & 3 B Ground AA ? cards
And 4 plane cards.
plus the 4 maneuver decks.

Only 4 Plane cards

I only got one Camel airplane card - its numbered 2/4 so I think there was only supposed to be four plane cards.

The 3 A & 3 B ground cards are anti-aircraft machine guns (see rules on page 15.)

Chris - Fantasy Flight customer service is very good amd I'm sure they'll make it right. Until then, you can draw 2 B cards for every A card you need to draw - the B deck is supposed to represent half of A deck's damage.

Are the minis good quality?

Very much so. You will be pleasantly surprised.

Definitely give customer service a call. I'm sure they'll do whatever they can to help fix the problem.

Checked mine and it is same as Ed, so all looking good. Minis good, although my DR1 was damaged to the extent of the bottom wing & bottom fuselage was seperated from the rest. Easily glued
