  1. My great cousin, Kurt-Bertram von Döring - Flew in Jasta 66, and Rudolph Windisch flew a Spad VII in that squadron, or so i've read. I've still not figured out what markins my uncle flew, so the markins on my avitar are purely my whimsy, but that is the markings I use for my pilot, Fleiging KinderSheiben, a German pilot. I know that there is a German pilot who flew a spad, that had three black stripes on a white on the side of the fuselage, where mine only has one.

    Greetings;
    I'm curious about your Avatar: is it based on a historic aircraft (I know that either side sometimes flew captured enemy planes if they were better than what could be gotten), or is it just a whimsy?
