Painting the Helmut Ju88A (Part 4)

So far so good, the paint has gone on well and above all it's been clear were the detailing needed to go.

As you can see I'm still using the Humbrol Black which is drying glossy, grrr, that problem will go away when the matt varnish is applied so I'm not too stressed with that.

If you remember I said the camera was a harsh mistress, this is were I've used it to my advantage. Having taken a bunch of pictures at this stage I've checked them to make sure I've covered the model well enough, in this case there was no issue but if you check this out;

You can see under the canopy and behind on the fuselage were I've not got the paint into the details, now with the human eye you can't see them, honest!! The camera is picking up the imperections as the light bounces off the under layer. It's also showing up the shockingly wavey lines I've painted ;)

The next job is to go back over it and just tidy up the details, paint the exhaust on the engines and then we're ready for the decals which is were distaster has struck....
